Our home and almost all it contained including our family history, our furniture, our car and my years of artwork and materials – all taken in a matter of moments in the catastrophic floods in the Ahr Valley, Germany.
We are so grateful our family is safe.
But we have now just heard our insurance won’t pay out for floods! We are devastated – again.

Today I had my "white" day. Here are some white tulips and a white peonie.
These are Original oil paintings on hardboard, size is 8"x8" (20x20 cm).
Finally I have finished my newest figurative painting in watercolor.
The size is about 20"x28" (50x70 cm).
It is painted on 140 lb hotpressed paper. I have not think about a title yet, any suggestions are welcome.
I am still working on my large watercolor painting, but I hope to finish it in one or two days. I am working so hard on it, so I did not work on smaller things. But I am missing to do some flowers.
